Papahana Kuaola’s Lelekamanu Program partners with schools on the island of Molokai. Our dedicated staff are residents of the respective islands and bring a wealth of knowledge and experiences encompassing Hawaiian cultural-based education and environmental stewardship. Our programs offer class presentations, professional development for teachers and community members, and huakaʻi that demonstrate the knowledge gained through the presentations. We strive to extend the teachings of Papahana Kuaola to the wider community, highlighting the deep connection between cultural heritage and ecological vitality. Our goal is to secure the lasting legacy of Hawaii’s unique identity for both the present and future generations.
